How To Get Rid Of a Sore Throat Naturally

Pain in the throat was very disturbing. As a result, so it is difficult to eat because of pain while swallowing. Before going to the doctor or swallowing the drug, you should first try some natural ways to get rid of a sore throat.


Sore throat is most often caused by viral infections such as colds or flu. Sore throat usually resolves itself, although in some cases there is a growing serious. But you do not need to worry. There are some simple treatments that you might try to do at home.

Here are how to get rid of a sore throat naturally:

1. Drink honey
Honey is believed to cure a sore throat, though until now scientists have not fully understood the workings of these foods. But certainly, honey could inhibit the growth of bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics. How to use: Mix 1-2 tablespoons of honey into a cup of hot water.

2. Gargling with salt water
Gargling with salt water can reduce inflammation of the throat. Why? Because salt can draw water out of the cell membrane, making it quite effective in reducing the swelling and inflammation caused by a sore throat. How to use: add half to one teaspoon of salt to a cup of warm water and gargle with a mixture of water at least once every hour.

3. Green tea
A study showed that research participants using green tea extract increased the immune response because they can secrete hormones interferon, which is able to fight the virus. For better results, you can add honey into a cup of green tea.

4. Apple cider vinegar
Still can not find scientific evidence about how it works, but many people believe in benefits apple cider vinegar. How to use: Mix one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a cup of warm water, then gargled and swallowed.

5. Consider taking vitamin D
A study in 2007 found that people who took vitamin D supplements every day, three chances are smaller have symptoms of colds and flu. In other words, if youre taking these vitamins, the immune system will be improved and reduced symptoms of sore throat.

Keep in mind, all the way over should be done prior to your sore throat worse. When the sick did not get better in three days, its time for you to consult further with your doctor.

To help prevent and relieve sore throat, regularly eat fruits that contain vitamin C such as oranges, strawberries and kiwi. Vitamin C in it can boost immunity and fight infection.

Slash Cuts Divorce Plans



Former Guns N Roses guitarist Slash recently called off plans to divorce his wife of nine years. Thats good news, but Im more interested in the legendary rockers hair. 


As the rocker has aged, his long curly hair has appeared to be ageless ... Which has led many to speculate that he might be wearing a wig.


Its difficult to tell from the photos if he is in fact using hair extensions, but I dont think so. After all, recent photos show that he has some hairline recession up top. If he was wearing a wig, hed probably try to hide that too. However, I do suspect the 45-year old is using hair dye to keep his locks a youthful black. (FYI, men have a 40-percent of hair loss in their 40s. The odds of going gray go up considerably too. See my previous post on that subject here.)


But whatever the facts may be, one thing is certain: the guy rocks!

In view of the fact that it has become really popular, I am pretty sure that you all know what kind of exercise "battling the rope" is, right? In case you aint Id suggest you check out what the lady on the right-hand side of this paragraph does. Looks familiar, right? Yeah, even the guy in the video thats playing at the McDonalds of Fitness Studies, McFit, here in Germany is doing it and if you remember the purpose... right! He does it as a conditioning exercise - for a good reason, as anyone who has ever "wrestled" or "battled" one of these big ropes will tell you.

Now, the SuppVersity is not the place where "anyones" assessments are posted. What we are interested in are hard facts. Hard facts as they are produced by scientific studies like the one Nicholas A. Ratamess, Joseph G. Rosenberg, SamanthaKlei, Brian M. Dougherty, Jie Kang, Charles Smith, Ryan E. Ross, and Avery D.Faigenbaum conducted (Ratamess. 2014).

The corresponding paper is about to be published in one of the upcoming issues of the Journal of Strength and Conditioning one of the few go-to journals for everyone interested in the irongame.

In their study, the scientists from the Department of Health and Exercise Science at the College of New Jersey had 10 well-trained men (age = 20.6 ± 1.3 yrs) perform 13 resistance exercise protocols on separate days and in random order; and believe it or not, the guys performed exactly one, and only one, of the following exercise programs per session:
  • free-weight exercise protocol - subjects performed 3 sets of up to 10 repetitions with 75% of their one repetition-maximum (1RM)
  • push-up and push-up on a BOSU® ball protocol - subjects performed 3 sets of 20 repetitions
  • burpee and push-up with lateral crawl protocol - subjects performed 3 sets of 10 repetitions
  • plank and battling rope circuit protocol - subjects performed 3 sets of 30-sec bouts. 
A two-minute rest was allowed between all sets for each exercise. The recorded data was averaged for the entire protocol including work and rest intervals and yielded the followed values for the individual mean oxygen consumption (see Figure 1):

As you can see the energy expenditure and thus the oxygen consumption in the subjects mitochondria was by far the greatest during the battling rope (24.6 ± 2.6 ml ·kg -1 ·min -1 ) and burpee (22.9 ± 2.1 ml ·kg -1 ·min -1 ) protocols.

The free weight exercises, on the other hand, were rather disappointing. Outside of the squat (19.6 ± 1.8 ml · kg -1 · min -1 ), deadlift (18.9 ± 3.0 ml ·kg -1 ·min -1 ), and lunge (17.3 ± 2.6 ml ·kg -1 ·min -1 ), the energy expenditure was rather mediocre. The same could be said for push-ups and push-ups on the "bogus ball" (aka BOSU® ball) which turned out to be similarly ineffective as means of getting rid of yesterdays cream cake.
Bottom line: Whenever your goal is to get ripped and buffed like the guy on the Mens Fitness cover, physical play is key. Those exercises that involve the whole body and activate maximal amount of muscles are true "burners". As a SuppVersity reader youre well aware that it does not really matter whether its fat or glucose youre burning and that exercise alone is not going to cut it.

Assuming that youre dieting and trying to up your diet success by re-structuring or modifying your workouts, there is yet little doubt that the incorporation of the battling rope (BR) protocol, in the course of which the subjects performed 3 sets of 30-sec bouts of exercise, which were divided into three 10-sec bouts in the course of which they performed (a) 10 sec of single-arm alternating waves, followed by (b) 10 sec of double-arm waves with a half-squat, followed by (c) 10 sec of double-arm rope slams with a half-squat, would make an excellent addition / replacement to your "cardio" or "HIIT" day. And if you dont have access to a 10.9 kg, 15.2 m (50 feet) long and 3.8 cm thick cable that can be anchored in a low position to a power rack using zip ties (with one loop) 10-12 inches from the floor, you can still do the burpee workout - no?

Women Heart Attack Symptoms


It is important if you are a woman and you have symptoms that you seek medical treatment immediately. The in women, the common symptoms are:

o Unexplained fatigue or extreme tiredness
o Shortness of breath
o Nausea (not relieved by antacids or even burping)
o Heart burn that wont go away with antacids and
o Cold sweats
o Chest discomfort
o Pressure low in the chest
o Panic or anxiety attack symptoms without the trigger


If you are experiencing these symptoms instead of trying to brush them off as being nothing or assume it is a panic attack. Seek medical treatment. Discussing your health with your primary medical care provider is important. If deep down you feel there is more to your symptoms you should let your doctor know that you want him to run a couple tests. More women die from heart disease than any other ailment.

Generic Propecia Now Available But Should You Buy It


As of this month, generic finasteride pills are now available in the US for the first time ever - offered exclusively for the next six months as Finasteride Tablets (1 mg) by Dr. Reddys Laboratories Ltd., a Hyderabad, India-based pharmaceutical company. Read about it here.

Facial routine at home

I personally feel it very boring, time consuming and expensive going to parlors for long facials. I accept parlor facials are very effective. They give instant change glow and healthy looking skin. But honestly girls for how many days that pretty look stays, at max three four days and then its back to same boring dull skin tone.I personally use to go to parlor every 15 days but with job and social  life it become very difficult to get time. So for some time I have been looking for some home facial that can replace or at least reduce the parlor need.
I tried many products and now I have finally choose some products which totally suits my skin and best thing is I can do that at home and as frequently as once in 7 days. I do that when my skin needs and it havent given me any harm as you would have heard over doing facial is harmful... not anymore.
Heres my facial routine... do give it a try and leave a feed back.
These are all the products that I use:




  1.  Clean and Clear morning wash cleanser
  2. Fair and lovely face wash
  3. Neutrogena black head eliminating scrub
  4. Himalaya Herbal refreshing Cleansing milk
  5. Dove silky nourishment
  6. Farmsi Cherry Face scrub
  7. Himalaya Herbals refreshing Fruit Mask

Follow the steps bellow:
  • 1stly of course clean you face with a suitable cleanser. I use "Clean and Clear morning energy cleanser" because i have normal to dry skin and its slightly creamy and give very nice effect.

  • Some times if i feel extra dust or oil I use "Fair and Lovely face wash". Its oil free and very effective in extracting oily traces leaving skin feel fresh. Avoid using on dry skin.
  • Now apply Farmasi cherry face scrub.

  • Apply scrub in circular motion throughout your face press softly... dont be harsh with your skin.
  • Dry out your face with soft towel. 
  • Take a bowl of water and sit on a very comfortable place.
  • Put some Himalaya Herbals refreshing cleansing milk in your palm and spread evenly to your face.

  • Massage thoroughly.
  • When its almost absorbed by your skin dip your hands in bowl of water wet them and massage your face again
  • Do the same process at least 5 times. Mean while you can put on more cleansing milk and when its absorbed apply water and massage again. Emphasize more on nose, forehead and chin if you have black heads.
  • Cleansing milk will soften you skin and will clean it thoroughly.
  • Clean you face with soft tissues and dry out completely.
  • Now apply Dove silky nourishment cream to your face, tap on whole face and massage again when absorbed apply water and repeat for 5 times.
  • Again clean out you face with soft tissues and dry out completely. 
  • Now take a blackhead removal pin.
 
  



  • Remove blackheads from nose chin and cheeks if you have any. If you have done your massage good it will be ver easy to remove all back heads and wont be as painful as in parlor.
  • Now take Neutrogena black head eliminating scrub, massage on wet face softly and wash your face. It will clear out remaining blackheads.
  • Dry your face and finally apply Himalaya Herbals refreshing Fruit Mask.
  • Leave it on till it dry.
  • Wash your face with gentle warm water.

 Do try this facial at home.... you will be amazed to see the neatness and glow in your face. Dont forget the arms and neck include them also in your facial routine, that will not take much time. The best thing is it will save money and time and biggest plus is you can do as many time as your skin need.

Its a v beautiful mall with architecture representing shape of pyramid and interior decorated with Egyptian themes.
One of my favorite attraction there is light show... they display a complete show using lights over the walls surrounding the lawn. People sits in the middle to watch the show. There are 3 show daily for half an hr after 7:30. Best thing is u dont need a ticket to watch...
